Blogging has taken the world by storm. Everyone seems to be publishing some kind of blog about everything from gardening to macramé. Just what a blog is and how you can get started can be a mystery to many though. We have put together here a short ebook on some of the more important topics that we feel are needed to help get a person or organization started in building a successful blog.
A lot of blogs are started to make money for either the organization or the person writing it. That is a great goal. But that should not be the only goal. Being able to express your thoughts, needs, and desires is what blogging is really all about; if you can make money along the way doing it, so much the better. But don’t forget that in anything we do, we must take personal responsibility for our actions and our words. Blog responsibly. Consider the affect that your words will have on your community of readers, most of whom you will never meet, but may influence greatly by the messages you deliver.
